Hi there,

I am Author D. V. Lang. I’ve written and published some fun, motivational, and educational children’s books. They’re available At Amazon, Goodreads, and many other popular sites where books are sold. My first book, I Didn’t Think I Could is a wonderful motivation book that gives kids irrefutable proof that they possess grit and that they’re capable of achieving. My second book, Saying Hello Around The World. Is a fun, easy, and educational book that teaches kids the friendly greeting of hello in a variety of languages. The books are designed for kids ages 0-7, but I’ve heard from many adults that they’ve thoroughly enjoyed and learned themselves while reading the books for younger kids who could not read them for themselves yet. It is my hope that you too will purchase and enjoy these books. They come from deep in my heart as gifts to the world.

About D.V. Lang

I am told, that I was one of those children that began reading at an early age. I can’t say I have any recollection of how old I was when I began reading, but I do remember the many hours I spent in joyous experiences with the fairies, brownies, pixies and magical creatures I so loved.

To this day, I remember the heart wrenching feeling of leaving picture books behind. I simply couldn’t imagine that a book without pretty pictures could ever be enjoyed. Thanks to a clever teacher with the patience of a saint, and a book list to engage the most die hard of picture book readers, I was finally weaned from picture books. Even so, I was the last person in class to be weaned, and I can surely tell you, it was one of the hardest things I left behind in my childhood.

These emotions were raised again in a recent conversation, and I realize just how many huge hurdles are conquered in childhood. That gave me the idea for the Book I Didn’t Think I Could. I thought what a motivation it would be to show children proof that they are achievers. It is my sincere hope that provided with this irrefutable proof, children will from an early age, believe they can.
